The rug has a plaited structure with a tricot effect, made of permeable, breathable acrylic yarn, making this rug truly ideal, even in humid environments. Durable, invisible stitching joins the mélange acrylic yarn plaits while the border on two sides is in a neutral grey. The colors of the rug take their cue from nature and coordinate brilliantly not only with the structures in iroko wood and the Lifescape textiles, but also with various types of flooring. Envisioned as a “bridge” between seating elements and complementary pieces, this rug has a supporting role in creating elegant, comfortable outdoor environments. The rug is made entirely of Olyna Outdoor, a 100% Made in Italy polyolefin fiber, crafted from a compact yet flexible braided structure with a tricot effect. A saddle-hide or leather element designs a wing that embraces the armchair, sustaining the frame like a sculptural bustier, characterised inside by the inviting softness of the seat and backrest. Behind the apparent simplicity of the design lies an advanced technological process used to make both the padding with different textures of foam and the saddle hide or leather bustier, made using two different Baydur® moulds, which perfectly follows the curved line of the armchair. The GamFratesi studio, signing the design, worked on the idea of contrast, emphasising it and juxtaposing the stiff frame of the saddle hide or leather element with the softness of the upholstered part, which can also be seen on the back, so setting the scene for interesting colour combinations of saddle hide and fabric. The legs are in Pewter-coloured die-cast aluminium and a unique bow-shaped frame connects the feet at the rear, emphasising the curve of the saddle hide or leather body. The family of products includes an armchair, accompanied by a footstool, and a lounge armchair, both with the same features and in different sizes, now joined by the Angie Cover version upholstered entirely in fabric or leather. The presence of saddle hide is not only a distinctive feature of the GamFratesi studio’s involvement in the creative team of Minotti, but also breathes new vibrancy into a piece with classic forms, offering a palette of different shades. Structure In metal, coated with flexible fire-resistant polyurethane foam with an additional softer insert, covered in a breathable heat-bonded fireproof fiber upholstery. Metal seat coated in fire-resistant polyurethane foam with suspension provided by high-rubbercontent elastic webbing, then covered in a breathable heat-bonded fireproof fiber upholstery. The enveloping and comfortable body of the Belt seats designed for indoor use in 2021 also shapes the outdoor version. The band which, in the original design, outlines the silhouette of the volume recalling the shape of a belt, in its outdoor version becomes a corded contour in the colours Sand and Dark Brown, covering the polished Bronze steel frame. The seats rest on a matt varnished aluminium base, in the shades of Ecru and Dark Brown, reiterating the colours of the cord, and feature padded cushions with extra-durable polyurethane foam inserts, covered in water-repellent fibre and fabric. The Belt Cord Outdoor family is composed of a two-seater sofa, bergère, armchair, footstool, lounge armchair and dining little armchair, all also available with natural finish teak legs. With a more classic feel and a warmer aesthetic, this version can be easily combined with all the other furnishing pieces in the outdoor collection. Structure In tubular stainless steel with exterior-grade polyester powder-coated anti-fingerprint finish in polished Bronze colour. The distinctive characteristic and inspiration behind the Belt family, designed in the all-fabric or leather versions, is the idea of a belt that draws the profile of the body, encircling it, then breaking off and fastening on the front of the seat. In particular, in the leather version, the strip is sewn onto a piece of bonded leather to lend support and ensure a consistent thickness: it is applied to the covering as a belt is applied to a dress and an ultra-sophisticated crafting process is required to follow the curved shape of the seat and keep the visible seams perfectly straight and even. With its classic shape, the foam body designs a shell-like, enveloping backrest that welcomes and protects. The seat rests on a die-cast aluminium base with a polished Brandy-coloured anti-touch varnished finish, which enhances the armchair and, in its leather version, recalls the metal finishes of exquisite leather bags. The base is also available in Dark Brown stained Canaletto walnut or Black lacquered open-pore flamed ash. The family consists of a sofa, an armchair, a bergère with footstool, a smaller lounge armchair, and a dining little armchair. Structure In aluminium with high-rubber-content elastic webbing, coated in fire-resistant polyurethane foam and covered with breathable heat-bonded fibre laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric for additional softness. A distinctive design feature, a belt-like insert, outlines the contours of the seat, when upholstered in leather the 'belt' is always made with strips of leather, using the same techniques as those for fine luggage, joined by means of fine hand-finished stitching. The upholstery for the seat shell is crafted by joining the various pieces of fabric with a strip of cotton gros-grain, the colour will be chosen by the factory. In the leather-upholstered version the stripe is in the same leather as the upholstery.Two zippers located under the seat where the belt ends meet facilitate removal of the upholstery.
