Armchair Belt 'Cord' Outdoor
The enveloping and comfortable body of the Belt seats designed for indoor use in 2021 also shapes the outdoor version. The band which, in the original design, outlines the silhouette of the volume recalling the shape of a belt, in its outdoor version becomes a corded contour in the colours Sand and Dark Brown, covering the polished Bronze steel frame.
The seats rest on a matt varnished aluminium base, in the shades of Ecru and Dark Brown, reiterating the colours of the cord, and feature padded cushions with extra-durable polyurethane foam inserts, covered in water-repellent fibre and fabric.
The Belt Cord Outdoor family is composed of a two-seater sofa, bergère, armchair, footstool, lounge armchair and dining little armchair, all also available with natural finish teak legs. With a more classic feel and a warmer aesthetic, this version can be easily combined with all the other furnishing pieces in the outdoor collection.
Structure In tubular stainless steel with exterior-grade polyester powder-coated anti-fingerprint finish in polished Bronze colour. The steel structure is upholstered in 8 mm Ø woven Taslan (air-jet weaving and texturisation process) polypropylene fibre. The fibre is available in Sand and Dark Brown colour.
Cushions Seat and backrest cushions in high resilience polyurethane foam covered with a blend of viscoelastic chips and Rollo Fill® fibre - polyester microspheres - that provides thermoregulating action for comfort. The seat cushion also has a self-supporting variable-density core insert. In order to better protect the padding from water and humidity, all the cushions are encased in water-repellent polyester upholstery. The accessories used in production - zippers and thread - are waterrepellent and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Seat and backrest cushions are reversible, except for the footstool cushion. The footstool cushion is attached to the structure by teak frogs.
Covers Cushion upholstery is completely removable.
Base - in extruded aluminium, varnished matt Ecru colour (paired with the Sand colour fibre) or matt Dark Brown colour (paired with the Dark Brown fibre), with exterior-grade varnish. Protective polyethylene glides in Ecru or Dark Brown colour.- in solid teak (Tectona Grandis - First European Quality), natural finish (paired with both fibre colours), kiln-dried. Crafted on CNC machines and assembled with dowel joinery and glue. Adjustable feet and black protective polyethylene glides.
