Powerfully expressive, this family of tables and coffee tables draws inspiration from the fluid, organic shapes of tree trunks, true sculptures produced by nature. A masterful technique of high-end cabinetry made the creation of extremely complex curves and veneers possible. The contoured internal structure is in MDF, sheathed in larch veneered plywood which is then milled along the curved edges. The larch base in Licorice lacquer can be paired with a top in open-pore stained flamed ash in Licorice color. The underside has a matt finish in the same color as the top, in Smoked Glass laminated to extra-clear or Amber color glass. The 150 cm diameter top is only available in Calacatta marble. The Lou table comes in both rectangular and round versions, in various sizes. Top finishes - stratified glass, 8+8 mm thick, composed of a sheet of Smoked Grey glass and a sheet of extra-clear, transparent glass, - stratified glass, 8+8 mm thick, composed of 2 sheets of extra-clear, transparent glass between which are sandwiched colored films that produce an Amber colour, - in MDF, 35 mm thick, in flamed ash veneer, with open-pore lacquer finish in Licorice colour, coordinated to match the finish of the base. The underside of the top is in matt lacquered to match the colour on the top, The Ø 150 cm table is available only with the top in shaped, 20 mm thick Calacatta marble. Base Contoured interior in MDF: open-pore brushed larch veneered plywood, lacquered in Licorice colour. Upper and lower plates in metal, with textured black varnish. Adjustable metal feet with protective DELRIN® glides.
