The 50's
The 50’s
Design by García CuminiTimeless Adaptability
Inspired by 1950s elegance, reimagined for today’s fluid living.Cesar’s The 50’s system dissolves boundaries between kitchen, living, and dining spaces. Vertical struts—anchored floor-to-ceiling or floor-to-wall—act as sculptural skeletons, while modular shelves and cabinets adapt to your rhythm. This is architecture without walls, where open storage and hidden compartments coexist, and integrated lighting transforms aluminum struts into luminous art.
WALL SYSTEM
The Wall System is a canvas for creativity, offering unparalleled design freedom. Customizable struts stretch to meet your space’s scale, while accessories—hooks, glass holders, and shelving—can be positioned to frame your story. Embedded LED lighting within the struts casts a soft glow, highlighting curated displays and casting intricate shadowplay. Adjustable feet in polished nickel, matte champagne, or bronze ensure the system feels grounded yet refined. Whether housing a wine cellar or floating as a room divider, it’s a tribute to mid-century versatility.
DOUBLE-FACED SYSTEM
The Double-Faced System redefines openness. Deeper modules allow symmetrical use, bridging kitchens and living areas with a sophisticated dance of full and empty spaces. The “Fiocina” —a structural insert in black, nickel, bronze, or champagne—anchors the design while elevating its elegance. Appliances and storage blend seamlessly into the framework, creating a rhythm where form and function converse without borders.
Material Symphony
The 50’s celebrates material diversity:- Finishes: Struts in polished nickel, matte champagne, or bronze—echoing mid-century metallics.
- Storage: Fiocina inserts paired with Olmo Sbiancato wood or Fenix Nero cabinets for tactile contrast.
- Surfaces: Bianco Apuano marble countertops or Magnolia silk-effect lacquer for soft luminosity.
- Textures: Mix open smoky glass shelves with closed Intarsio wood doors, or let Fumé glass backsplashes diffuse light like softened memories.
