Fontana Alta Floor Lamps

An iconic floor lamp blending heritage design with modern versatility

Fontana Alta is a refined floor lamp that extends the legacy of the iconic Fontana collection, bringing its distinctive design language into a contemporary standing format. More than fifty years after the original concept, this version preserves its essence while adapting it to modern living environments.

Design & Heritage

At the core of Fontana Alta is its recognizable half-sphere shade, a defining element that gives the lamp its timeless character. The subtle slit around the shade creates a unique peripheral light effect, adding depth and visual intrigue.

The structure is supported by a discreet circular base, ensuring stability while maintaining a light and elegant appearance. The overall composition reflects a perfect balance between form and function.

Light & Atmosphere

Fontana Alta produces a soft and atmospheric glow, enhanced by its indirect and peripheral light distribution. The slit in the shade allows light to escape gently, creating a layered lighting effect that enriches the surrounding space.

A discreet dimmer located on top of the structure allows easy adjustment of light intensity, giving full control over the ambiance—from soft and intimate to more functional illumination.

Main Advantages

The main advantage of Fontana Alta lies in its versatility. It adapts effortlessly to different environments, whether used to complement a calm residential setting, energize a workspace, or create a welcoming atmosphere in hospitality spaces.

Its integrated dimmer enhances usability, while the combination of iconic design and durable materials ensures long-term reliability and timeless appeal.
