BLOCK Desk
Where Timeless Elegance Meets Natural Sophistication in Prestigious Executive Spaces
Product Description
BLOCK Desk: Timelessly elegant high-end desks designed for prestigious executive spaces. With an essential and sophisticated architectural cut, the BLOCK desk interprets the executive workspace with natural elegance. Generous volumes and important thicknesses characterize the structure and top, enriched by precious metal inserts in a brushed brass finish that become both an aesthetic and functional motif. A careful selection of precious materials confirms the choice of quality and the innate prestige of the collection.
Core Desk Design & Structure
The desk features two legs and a central top crafted from 18 mm thick wood fibre panels, expertly folded to obtain a substantial thickness of 88 mm. It incorporates a tubular steel inner frame with infill panels under the top. On the inside of the legs, there is a hatch to facilitate cable management, and they can be fitted with a wireless charger. The central top features a convenient sliding mechanism providing access to an internal compartment with a leather mat to hold objects or power devices. This compartment can be in the same colour as the top or leather covered, and is surrounded by a brushed brass finish metal trim, enabling cables to be brought out onto the desktop through two slits. The modesty panel is made of 18 mm thick wood fibre, measuring 350 mm wide and positioned 290 mm from the floor.
Extensions & Service Units
The collection offers versatile configurations to enhance the workspace. The DESK WITH EXTENSION features an extension top with an open compartment and a drawer unit equipped with two push-to-open drawers, which are also available with leather-covered front panels. The DESK WITH SERVICE UNIT is fitted with shelves and an internal compartment closed by sliding lockable doors. It contains a drawer unit with three push-to-open drawers and a dedicated space for the computer, completed by a brushed brass finish cable tidy for cable management with a hatch in a matching colour.
Advanced Cabling System
The desk is equipped with a highly efficient cabling system. The sliding central top provides access to a compartment for cables and power devices, along with a small leather-lined object compartment. Cables can be brought up through the container unit, which is fitted with a special cable tidy customized with the same finishes. Alternatively, they can be brought up through the structure of the desk, which has a hatch on the inside to facilitate cable management. From there, they enter the inside of the central top and can be brought out onto the work surface through a slit.
