Greene Armchair
Where Gentle Curves Embrace Comfort in Refined Simplicity
Product Description
Living Divani Greene Armchair: A masterfully designed contemporary seating piece defined by gentle curves and a relaxed, casual character. This armchair offers a harmonious balance — its structured perimeter provides architectural clarity, while plush, ample cushions invite deep relaxation. Standing on slender feet, it appears to float with lightness, underscoring Living Divani’s unwavering attention to detail and proportion.
The supporting structure is built from lacquered tubular steel (60x30 mm section), delivering strength and clean-lined elegance. The seat is sprung with coated rubber elastic straps and padded with polyurethane foam, ensuring responsive, fatigue-resistant support. The backrest and armrests are formed around a core of tubular steel embedded in cold-expanded polyurethane foam, then covered with 100% polyether thermally bonded onto a polyamide velveteen backing — a seamless integration of comfort and structure. These components are securely screwed to the main frame for stability.
Cushions are generously filled with preshrunk and sterilized goose down, stitched into separate compartments over a preformed polyurethane foam insert, combining plush softness with long-term shape retention. The full-length seat cushion and leaning armrest cushion are joined by a zipper, creating a continuous, tailored surface that enhances both comfort and visual unity.
The armchair rests on steel rod feet (Ø22 mm), screwed into bushings welded within the backrest structure. Integrated into the design is a seat cushion support bar (Ø20 mm steel tube), fixed to the base with screw-spacers and coated in gunmetal grey epoxy powder, reinforcing structural integrity. Floor contact is managed through adjustable black plastic feet, providing leveling and floor protection.
Upholstery in fabric or leather covers both the structure and cushions. Only the fabric version features fully removable covers, secured with zippers and Velcro fastenings, allowing for easy maintenance and updates. Leather upholstery offers a sleek, non-removable finish for a more tailored look.
