Dumas Armchair
Where Timeless Softness Invites You to Stay a Little Longer
Product Description
Living Divani Dumas Armchair: A refined expression of bourgeois-inspired comfort, now available in a dedicated armchair version that invites you to linger and savor its enveloping softness. Designed as a standalone piece from the celebrated Dumas collection, it blends architectural solidity with luxurious cushioning — creating a seat that feels both substantial and deeply inviting.
The backrest frame is built from double-panelled fir-wood, ensuring structural integrity and timeless appeal. The armrests and seat frame are crafted from multilayer poplar wood, offering strength with refined layering. Padding throughout uses polyurethane foam, wrapped in a needle-punched, resinated non-woven polyester fiber lining, bonded to a polyamide velveteen backing — delivering durability, softness, and dimensional stability.
For this armchair version, the seat chassis is inserted into the base and constructed from fir-wood, providing natural warmth and precise support. It is sprung with coated rubber elastic straps for responsive, fatigue-resistant seating comfort. An additional layer of padding consists of PU foam covered in 100% polyether thermally bonded onto a polyamide velveteen backing, enhancing surface resilience and tactile quality.
Seat cushions are generously filled with preshrunk and sterilized goose down, stitched into separate compartments over a core of differentiated density polyurethane foam and Visco-soft insert, combining plush indulgence with ergonomic support. Backrest cushions follow suit — filled with sterilized goose down and layered over a PU foam insert for balanced firmness.
Additional loose decorative cushions, also filled with goose down and compartment-stitched, enhance comfort and style.
