Scouring tools and abrasive powders can damage the satin or polished surfaces and should not be used. If necessary, diluted solutions of isopropyl alcohol or sodium carbonate can be safely applied to the steel. For optimal longevity and water clarity, a filtration or softening system is recommended to reduce mineral deposits both inside and on the exterior surfaces.
