The Bocci 73s showcases the remarkable artistry of the 73 Series, where molten glass is inflated inside handwoven ceramic-infused textile moulds. Rather than concealing the making process, Bocci celebrates it by allowing every fold, weave, and subtle imperfection of the textile to become permanently embedded within the glass surface.
This experimental manufacturing technique creates softly contoured forms with intricate textures that can never be precisely repeated. The resulting glass appears almost cloud-like, gently diffusing light while revealing a rich interplay of transparency, depth, and handcrafted detail.
